Below, you’ll find answers to some of the vendor-related questions we’re asked most often, along with helpful planning information. Be sure to explore our full list of Frequently Asked Questions for even more details as you plan your celebration.

Do I need to hire a planner?

A professional wedding planner or coordinator is an invaluable part of creating a seamless and enjoyable celebration. Because planning a wedding involves countless details and moving pieces, all clients are required to hire a licensed and insured planner or coordinator—who is not attending as a guest—within 90 days of the event date.

Your planner will be responsible for attending the Final Walkthrough meeting, submitting a timeline and event layout at least two weeks prior to the event, and remaining on-site through the end of the rental period to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

If you need assistance finding the right planner, our team is always happy to provide recommendations.

Are there any license or insurance requirements for my vendors?

All vendors working on our property must be properly licensed and insured. Clients are responsible for submitting a Certificate of Insurance for each hired vendor to our Sales Team. We recommend requesting this documentation at the time of booking to help make the planning process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

    Do I need event insurance?

All clients are required to purchase a day-of-event insurance policy with a minimum $2 million aggregate and to list Venues at Arsenal Hill as an additional insured. Events serving alcohol must also include liquor liability coverage within the policy.

Clients may conveniently purchase coverage through our Indemn or Vensura portals or secure a policy independently through their provider of choice.
